    Aon is looking for a Senior Director, Intelligence & Investigations.

    As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk.  As a Senior Director, you will report directly to the Vice President.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

     

    The ideal candidate will exhibit an innovative mindset and a proven capacity for identifying, exploiting and

    collecting information from varied sources along with evaluating, analyzing and reporting a well-vetted intelligence product for multiple levels and types of intelligence consumers.

    • Conduct in-depth research on individuals and corporate entities using the full range of U.S. and international open sources (media, public records etc.).
    • Provide direct service for a sophisticated client base consisting of top-tier law firms, financial institutions and corporations.
    • Participate and manage White Collar, background, and fraud investigations in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
    • Perform and monitor field, telephonic, and in-house investigative interviews.
    • Prepare complex investigative written reports and peer reviews based on data analyses covering all phases of investigation.
    • Work on teams of varying size, creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads while meeting client expectations.
    • Prior private practice experience preferred.
    • Supervise work of junior staff.

    You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

      

    Required Experience:

     

    • 10 years’ relevant work experience with federal, state, or local law enforcement, with federal law enforcement preferred.
    • Professional certifications are a plus (CFE, CPP or CPA) and a solid understanding of applicable Federal/State/local statutes as they relate to financial crimes and a proficient knowledge in applying these laws to said crimes for proper adjudication of offenders.
    • Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs and actively participating in client discussions and meetings.
    • Ability to manage engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
    • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required for working with peers, senior management, and business customers in order to drive results and to obtain the cooperation of other parties as necessary.
    • Accurate and detail oriented record keeping skills.
    • Able to multi-task by carrying a diverse and complex caseload.
    • Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment.
    • Ability and willingness to travel.
